Weddle Event Space is a unique studio loft environment located in the Westport district of Kansas City. Maple floors and 20-ft-high exposed wood ceilings provide the setting for 3,500 sq ft of entertaining space. The design is accented by contemporary, iron and glass, free-standing office structures.

The space is equipped with a range/oven, microwave, large prep areas with sinks, dishwasher and small refrigerator. We supply two modern steel 3x5 ft rolling tables, one 4x4 ft rolling table (typically for food displays), and one 2x4 ft stainless-steel table (typically for bar use). There is a pool table which can be played on or topped and used for a large food display. In one corner there is a large curved white wall for either hanging of banners/photos or for projected media. This area also lends itself nicely to band or DJ set up and dancing.

Outside catering is permitted and welcomed, however, we do have a preferred vendor list which is available on request. If you choose to use a caterer that is not on the preferred list, and they do not meet the requirements for the list, a 10% surcharge will be added to your total.

Rental pricing:
Rental rates include 10 large round tables, 100 black wooden chairs, and linens for the round tables. Also included is an event monitor and security officer (off-duty KC police officer). A variety of seating/table arrangements are available upon request.
Sunday-Thursday rate: $2,000, Friday Rate: $2,300, Saturday: $2,500.
An additional $500 security damage deposit is required; deposit is refundable the week following the event provided no damage occurs.
